The Tiger Band Hall project has raised about $11.25 million toward its goal of $14 million. They're aiming for a fall 2009 groundbreaking, so all alumni and fans of LSU are needed now to meet their final $2.75 million goal. Without the final amount, the project plans cannot include the band administration office, so the directors and office staff will not have offices at the new complex. Adding the building later will mean several years of cross campus management of the band.
There are several ways to donate to the project. The LSU Foundation, LSU Alumni Association and Tiger Athletic Foundation are accepting donations. Click “Donate Online” on the Friends of The LSU Band website (see link below).
Also CCT is accepting donations of money and silent auction items with 100% of the funds/auction item proceeds going to the band:
